Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski has already cemented himself as a real fan favourite just weeks after joining the club.

The winger arrived on loan from Juventus in January to little fanfare after Spurs missed out on a number of other transfer targets including Adama Traore and Luis Diaz.

But Kulusevski has enjoyed a stunning start to life in north London, scoring and assisting another in the club’s 3-2 win over Manchester City.

The 21-year-old has bagged two goals and notched four assists in his first eight Premier League games and has now been recognised for his efforts.

Kulusevski has already been given his own song by the club’s fans based on a song from a band originating from the player’s homeland Sweden.

To the tune Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) by ABBA, the lyrics are:

“There’s not a soul out there,

“No one to hear my prayers,

“Gimme, gimme, gimme a ginger from Sweden,

“He came from Juventus,

“And he plays on the wing.

“Gimme, gimme, gimme a ginger from Sweden,

“Number 21,

“His name is Kulusevski.”

The man himself is also a fan of his new song, saying: “I love it, of course. All my friends send it to me all the time and think it’s really funny.

“I actually like the song and like that the fans are enjoying me playing.”

Kulusevski is not only winning praise from fans but is also being lauded by his new manager Antonio Conte.

Speaking ahead of the win over West Ham, the Italian said: “We are talking about an important prospect.

“He is very young, only 21 years old and despite his young age, he has good experience with the national team.

“To play with Juventus for one year and a half, you understand what it means to live with pressure. Probably he could explode in the future.”
